What We Are Looking For

A cover that belongs to Women Who Build.

We are looking for work that is strong, original and true to the women who design, build, engineer, manage and lead the built environment. Keep it simple. Keep it powerful.

Who Can Enter

Open to designers, students and creatives.

Eligibility, dates and prizes are set out in the Competition Rules. Entrants under 18 must have parent or guardian consent.

The Cover Competition entry form includes Media Release Consent. The full Media Release explains how approved media may be used. The Competition Rules govern use and licensing of the submitted artwork itself.

Under 18?

  1. Have your parent/legal guardian complete Guardian Consent.
  2. Save the Guardian Consent Reference Number.
  3. Return to the Cover Competition entry form.
  4. Enter the reference number when submitting the competition entry.

How It Works

  1. 01

    Create

    Design an original Women Who Build calendar cover that follows the official Competition Rules and artwork specifications.

  2. 02

    Submit

    Upload your cover design through the official competition form. Maximum 2 entries per participant.

  3. 03

    Finalist Notification

    Selected finalist(s) will be contacted on or before November 26, 2026.

    Eligible entrants under 18 must have completed Guardian Consent and provided a valid Guardian Consent Reference Number.

  4. 04

    Final Reveal

    The winning cover will be officially revealed in Toronto during the first week of December 2026 at the Women Who Build Calendar Release event.

    The winner will receive:

    • their design featured as the Women Who Build calendar cover
    • a cash prize — amount to be announced
    • recognition at the official calendar reveal/release event
